Submissions:

Michael is actively interested in novels with a compelling concept and a distinct voice. He encourages submissions by writers from underrepresented groups.

Looking for:

– Science fiction and fantasy with superbly crafted prose, especially leaning toward the literary and the Weird.

– Near-future thrillers with strong speculative elements (think William Gibson, Paolo Bacigalupi, Omar El Akkad, or Tim Maughan rather than Dale Brown, Brad Thor, or David Baldacci).

Please do not query with nonfiction (including memoirs), poetry, middle grade, chapter books, picture books, or screenplays.

*** NOTE: I am currently CLOSED to queries (except by referral) ***
