Tor Publishing has acquired a new novel, FLORALINDA, from Tamsyn Muir, the New York Times bestselling author of the Locked Tomb series. Set to be published on July 27, 2027 by Tor Books (and simultaneously by Tor Nightfire UK) this full-length novel will be Muir’s first in five years, and her first novel outside the widely-beloved Locked Tomb series! Floralinda branches out into the world of fairy tale, showing what happens when a princess in a tower doesn’t get rescued by a brave and charming prince, and instead has to rescue herself. The novel is a massive expansion of Muir’s 2019 short fiction Princess Floralinda and the Forty-Flight Tower, previously published by Subterranean Press. Jennifer Jackson handled the deal for Floralinda, which was acquired under exclusive submission by Tor Senior Editor Carl Engle-Laird.
